What is e-design for interiors?

For full details with examples see below

e-Design = Virtual Interior Design

E-design provides the services of an interior designer or design studio in virtual form. Using this method, our studio can provide a pared-down, simplified package which takes the guesswork out of sourcing and pulling together a room scheme, but leaves the ordering and installation to you.

Is e-design a new type of interior design service?

The short answer is: Yes. An early proponent of this type of design was renowned British designer Windsor Smith, who introduced her “Room in a Box” in 2012

Interestingly enough, e-design exploded onto the design scene following the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has seen untold numbers of people move to working from home.

The business of online residential furniture sales, once thought to be an undesirable and even impossible venture, saw a growth increase of 300 percent in 2020.

What does this mean to you?

We thought you’d never ask 😉

Despite the good news that a growing number of furniture and decor vendors are moving to online selling, the bad news is that with more options often comes more confusion.

It can be hard to narrow down the choices, especially when working with existing furniture items.

The Bottom Line:

How can you ensure that it will all come together when you get your new furniture into the room?

Get excited, ’cause this is where the process of design works its magic.

Design phase two: concept

We create a compiled mood board from reference images for inspirational reference and design direction. Depending on your package, a color palette or material finish palette may also be included in this phase

Simply clicking on the items will take you direct to the online retailer.

Are there options for people who don’t reside in Taiwan?

Yes. Our virtual process can be applied anywhere in the world. Simply let us know which retailers you prefer to shop from in your country, or we can look into it for you.
